Please join us for a session on

Claude in the Office: Practical AI for Legal Administrators

presented by Charles Phelps, CEO with Elevatus IT Solutions

Session Description: AI tools like Claude are already changing how law firms operate; but most support staff are either not using them at all or using them without guardrails. This session cuts through the noise with real-world examples tailored specifically for legal administrators and support teams. You'll leave with practical prompts you can use right away, a clear picture of where AI adds the most value in day-to-day operations, and an honest look at the risks every firm needs to understand before going further.

Session Objectives
By the end of this session, attendees will be able to:

  1. Put Claude to work immediately: identify at least 3 administrative tasks they can hand off to Claude the same day (drafting correspondence, summarizing documents, creating templates, etc.)
  2. Apply it to legal-specific workflows: understand how support staff are using AI for intake forms, billing narratives, meeting prep, client communications, and file organization
  3. Know what NOT to trust it with: recognize the real risks around confidentiality, hallucinations, and client data so they can set guardrails before problems arise
  4. Prompt smarter, not harder : leave with a simple framework for writing prompts that get useful, consistent results without trial and error
  5. Navigate firm policy and ethics:  understand the key questions every firm should be asking about AI use policies, bar guidance, and client consent before rolling anything out
