Session Description: This presentation overviews common mental health problems faced by lawyers and legal professionals. It looks at how to identify anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders that so often create difficulties for lawyers. It also examines preventative tips to avoid these issues in the legal workplace and resources for addressing these issues.
The session will be available via zoom to any member that does not attend in-person. The zoom portion of the meeting will begin at noon.
**If you register to attend in-person and do not attend, or cancel the day of, there will be a $20 cancellation fee.**
Parking at the 2 Houston Parking Garage will be validated.
Location: 2 Houston Center, 909 Fannin, Houston, TX 77010
The garage has 2 entrances: one is on San Jacinto just after you cross McKinney (easy to enter with small cars); the second is on Walker just after you cross San Jacinto (this one is better for larger cars). Pull a ticket and park in any unreserved space.
Validations will be provided at the event.
Upon parking and depending on what level you park at:
- You will need to go the lobby level aka P1 level
- Upon exiting elevator head east (left) towards LyondellBasell Tower.
- You will see a marker on the wall pointing toward the LyondellBassell security reception desk
- You will see the security reception desk on your left and the event will be located right behind the security desk.
The Zoom login information will be emailed to all registered participants the morning of the session.
