Program Description
Learn about and apply self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management strategies from a former project manager and expert in the field. We all feel emotions; it’s what we do after we experience them that defines us. Emotional intelligence is a critical factor to move you, your teams, and your life forward.
Emotional intelligence is a skill and practice that has a positive influence on the lives of program participants. Attendees will learn the value emotional intelligence brings to the way they approach their work and their relationships. Participants will see and hear a variety of strategies they can employ in their day-to-day lives for self-enrichment and development.
The program will be interactive with question/response activities, reflection exercises, and idea-sharing. Participants will document and practice one strategy they want to put into practice.

Learning Objectives 
- Define emotional intelligence and explain its value in work and team performance.
- Analyze the four areas of emotional intelligence: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management.
- Identify which of the four areas individuals excel and explore opportunities to improve after taking and scoring a self-assessment.
- Practice self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management strategies to increase your emotional intelligence.
- Integrate emotional intelligence strategies to develop a personal awareness and change plan.
- Identify takeaways to practice after the program.
